Pressure should be held on these areas for about three minutes and the development of blood clots should be checked. For the latter, certain symptoms can be noticed liked bleeding from mouth, rectum, or nose. These animals should be immediately sent by the persons to the veterinarians.

Like humans, animals also choke whenever they swallow some stuff. There are symptoms that will indicate choking such as the animals will paw excessively on their mouths or have difficulty breathing. The individuals should check the mouth of their pets for visible foreign objects and remove them. However, they should exercise caution as these animals will likely bite them. If they cannot reach these things, they should consult their veterinarians.

These creatures should never be left inside the cars of the owners especially on hot days and the summer time. If not, heatstroke will be experienced by the animals. These creatures should be placed by the individuals under shady places and wet towels should be placed around their heads and necks. Running water should also be hosed on the bodies before they will be transported to the veterinarians.
